Colligo Networks unveils Colligo Briefcase 3.4 for Good Technology
Mar 23, 2013 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) --
Colligo Networks Inc., a provider of email and document management solutions for Microsoft SharePoint, has unveiled Colligo Briefcase 3.4 for Good Technology, a provider of push e-mail and mobile device management and security products for mobile phones, extending its security to the application level.
The Good Technology release of Colligo Briefcase enables companies to provide the ultimate in secure access for mobile SharePoint users. Colligo Briefcase for Good enables organizations to: support and encourage mobile devices for interaction with SharePoint content; reduce risk of data loss; and further protect corporate networks from rogue applications and malware.
Colligo Briefcase for Good integrates the Colligo Briefcase Enterprise application with Good Dynamics secure technology to provide: end-to-end data encryption between mobile device and server; VPN-less, secure access to on-premise SharePoint sites; separate secure device storage that enables selective remote wipe vs. erase whole device; AES cypher technology encryption for both stored and in-transit data; AppKinetics, Good Technology's patent-pending application-to-application data exchange; device data leakage prevention; password policies enforcement; and tools for easy enterprise deployment of Briefcase for Good.
Colligo also announced additional enhancements to Colligo Briefcase with release 3.4, including: single sign-on for simplified secure access; sample cloud-based SharePoint site to accelerate evaluation of Briefcase; and ability to approve/reject SharePoint list items for extended mobile productivity.
"Top of mind for our customers is device and application security. In a survey we commissioned Osterman Research to conduct last year, 77% of senior IT management stated that the security of corporate data stored on devices was their primary concern," said Trevor Dyck, Director of Product Management, Colligo.
"Partnering with Good Technology to bring enterprise-wide security to Colligo Briefcase is, therefore, a natural extension of our already security-focused product suite and one that customers are demanding."
