Godengo+Texterity Rebrands as GTxcel

Mar 25, 2013 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- One year after the acquisition of Texterity by Godengo, the digital and mobile publishing provider (formerly known as Godengo+Texterity) reveals their new name and corporate vision as GTxcel.

In a release, GTxcel CEO Peter Stilson said, "Retaining our strong brand legacy was important. Our new brand also positions us more boldly on the competitive landscape." Kim Keller, EVP Sales, said: "Most of our customers tell us that the two most important things they are concerned with are growing their digital footprint and making digital profitable. We have listened and are expanding the offerings of our Monetization Strategies.

"These will include turnkey online sales programs, on-site sales consultation and a new generation of interactive ads with metrics that prove performance. By helping publishers create new and engaging ads along with relevant sponsored content, we answer both needs." "What GTxcel means for us," Stilson said, "is an official integration and unification of all internal operations. For the public, the name will be easier to say, and for customers, it will signify streamlined workflows. We see the 'X' in our icon as symbolizing both an intersection of platforms and a crossroads for the industry." ((Comments on this story may be sent to [email protected]))
