BRIEF: Lee County offices to remain closed Friday


Jul 01, 2013 (Opelika-Auburn News - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- During its meeting June 24, the Lee County Commission voted to allow county employees to receive an additional day off for the Fourth of July holiday. County employees will now receive Friday as a holiday in addition to Thursday.



Building closures for Friday include the Lee County Courthouse in downtown Opelika, the Lee County Engineering Building and the Auburn Satellite Office.

There will be no satellite services available in Smiths Station and limited services at the Sheriff's administration building.
