DTI and Saxotech Merging to Form Newscycle Solutions [Professional Services Close - Up](Professional Services Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Saxotech and Digital Technology International (DTI), providers of enterprise software solutions for the global news media industry, recently jointly announced that the companies are combining their business operations. According to a release, the new global company will operate under the name Newscycle Solutions with a blended senior management team. The creation of Newscycle Solutions was driven by the simultaneous acquisitions of DTI and Saxotech by Vista Equity Partners, a private equity firm focused on long-term value-added investments in software and technology-enabled services. The companies said that as the trusted technology partner with more than 3,000 media customers in more than 25 countries, Newscycle Solutions has the scale and ability to serve publishers across all geographies with solutions for content, advertising, circulation and audience relationship management. The combination of two companies offers customers access to a pool of expertise and resources and a broad range of news media technology solutions.
