T-2 reports 0.55% rise in net income to EUR 13.1 mln in Q2 [Global Data Point]
(Global Data Point Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Slovenian telecommunications operator T-2 ended the second quarter with a 0.55 percent increase in net income to EUR 13.1 million, while EBITDA rose by 3.8 percent to EUR 3.1 million. T-2 has also gained 2,076 new customers, representing a 1.3 percent increase. The highest growth was recorded among mobile network subscribers, where the number increased by 1,324 or 2.6 percent to 53,763.
On the fixed network there were 102,837 subscribers at the end of June, which is 734 more. Net losses in the period stood at EUR 1.1 million. T-2 earmarked EUR 7.3 million for investments in the first half, most of which, at EUR 3.8 million, were invested in the construction of the network, while investment in equipment amounted to EUR 2.3 million.
