Virgin Mobile launches Nokia Lumia 925 [Global Data Point]
(Global Data Point Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Virgin Mobile France is the country's first MVNO to sell the Nokia Lumia 925 LTE smartphone, Echos du Net reports. This upgrade to the Nokia 920 runs Windows Phone 8 and has a 4.5-in PureMotion HD+ WXGA (1280 x 720) touchscreen and a new metal edge. It comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core 1.5GHz processor with 1GB of RAM, and a Carl Zeiss PureView 8.7 Megapixel dual-LED flash camera with improved camera capabilities on the Lumia 920. The 925 comes with a 16GB memory and another 7GB on Skydrive.
Virgin Mobile France is selling the black version of the Lumia 925 from EUR 99.99 on the Idol XL and VIP XL plans. The phone costs EUR 299.99 on Idol M, VIP M, and capped plan. Customers signing up to Idol S or VIP S pay EUR 499.99 or EUR 349.99 up front plus EUR 4 a month for two-years.
The black Nokia Lumia 925 is also available from Bouygues Telecom for EUR 59.99 or EUR 589 from its B&You no-contract range, in black or white from Orange France from EUR 89.90 or for EUR 599 with its Sosh, no-contract brand. SFR sells it in black, white and grey, starting at EUR 9.99.
