Free PhD classes at MUST [Daily Monitor, The (Uganda)]

Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) and Uganda Technology and Management University (UTAMU) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on a joint PhD training programme. The programme will see 200 students taken up in the first three-year quarter.
SelectionIn what Prof Venacious Baryamureeba, the proprietor of UTAMU described as "Institutional Capacity Building Programme", the two universities agreed to train 200 PhD students from selected universities in Uganda over a three-year period. He didn't, however, disclose the selected universities.
The two universities, according to Prof Baryamureeba, will entirely focus on ICT, computer science, Business and Management development and other science courses. The MoU is operational effective October this year.
