Kareo, Inc., a cloud-based medical office software and services provider for small medical practices, announced its place on the 2013 Inc. 500|5000 list.
According to a release, Inc. Magazine's seventh annual Inc. 500|5000 is a ranking of the nation's fastest growing private companies. Kareo was included in the Top 100 Software Companies and ranked among the top 15 percent of all 5,000 companies at number 722.
"This year has been an important one for not only our company but for our customers," said Dan Rodrigues, CEO and founder of Kareo. "We expanded our offerings with the launch of two important new solutions, Kareo EHR and Kareo Billing Services, designed to help physicians focus on delivering outstanding patient care rather than on managing distracting administrative tasks. We are honored that our focus on meeting the needs of our customers has resulted in our inclusion on the Inc. 500|5000 list for the second year in a row."
Kareo noted that it has more than 20,000 physicians using its integrated EHR, practice management, and billing solutions with this user base growing every month. Kareo expects this growth to continue as small practices turn to Kareo to help them address the challenges of delivering care in an uncertain and changing environment. In support of the tremendous market demand for its solutions, Kareo is proud to have created over 200 new jobs over the last three years.
Further, the Inc. 500|5000 list represents a look at an important segment of the economy -- America's independent entrepreneurs.
