Now at Harris Communications, the New, Redesigned Comfort Duett(R) Personal Listener from Comfort Audio
Eden Prairie, MN, Aug 25, 2013 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) --
Harris Communications, a leader in the field of assistive products for the deaf and hard-of-hearing, is pleased to introduce the newly redesigned Comfort Duett(R) Personal Listener from Comfort Audio. The new version is a more simplified design with an intuitive layout and large volume buttons.
For people with hearing loss, the Duett(R) is an amplified device that can be used for one-on-one conversations or small group gatherings. Because it is small and lightweight, the Duett(R) can be taken anywhere. Use it in the car, restaurant, hospital, church, movie theater, and while watching TV or talking on the phone. (Add-on kits are available for telephone and TV listening.)
The Duett(R) offers up to 60 decibel amplification and has an omnidirectional internal microphone to pick up loud, crisp audio to headphones, earphones or a t-coil hearing aid. A built-in t-coil will let you enjoy looped areas. The Duett(R) can be used with any standard 3.5mm headphone or earbuds.
To manage the sound, there is a key lock, left/right balance and bass/treble adjustment. An Automatic Gain Control will adjust the gain to the appropriate level. The long 20 hour operating time ensures the Duett(R) will be ready when you are. In a pinch, you can use standard AAA batteries, or use the Duett(R) while it is charging on the base.
The new Comfort Duett(R) Personal Listener comes with a headphone and earphone, a base charger unit, 2 AAA NiMH rechargeable batteries and a headphone rest stand. (Neckloop and additional accessories are sold separately.)
Available now at Harris Communications, the Comfort Duett(R) Personal Listener - New with Large Buttons,(#HC-DUETT2), is available for $169.95.
