LexisNexis selects NetSuite to manage core business operations

LexisNexis Pacific, a provider of content and technology solutions for the legal and corporate markets, has selected NetSuite, a provider of cloud-based financials and omnichannel commerce software suites, to manage its core business operations including project management, customer relationship management, or CRM, and customer service and support.
According to NetSuite, it replaced a number of proprietary CRM databases to consolidate LexisNexis' operational processes into a single management solution that is now the backbone of its daily operations. NetSuite also fully integrates with LexisNexis' existing finance, accounting and marketing systems, delivering significant efficiencies and real-time visibility into its business. LexisNexis has over 400 licences of NetSuite and uses it to gain a comprehensive up-to-date view of its expanding customer base, as well as for successfully managing employees, contractors, resources and projects in a single solution.
LexisNexis provides local and international news, business, tax and legal information in Australia and New Zealand, using leading-edge technology, tools and digital solutions. It works in close collaboration with its customers to provide content-enabled workflow systems for professionals in law firms, corporations, government, law enforcement, tax, accounting, academic institutions and compliance assessment. LexisNexis' previous customer relationship systems were struggling to keep up with its rapid growth due to a lack of integration, leading to inconsistent processes, data inaccuracy and regular delays in the availability of information. In addition, the acquisition of a large software services company made it imperative to implement a best-in-market project management tool to ensure its successful integration into LexisNexis' existing business. LexisNexis turned to NetSuite in 2009 for its powerful web-based customer CRM and project management capabilities, which include sales force automation (SFA), marketing automation, customer support, flexible customisation and the ability to manage all aspects of project management, including time management, staffing levels and billing requirements, NetSuite said.
