China's telecom equipment export surges 19.6 pct in Jan.-July
BEIJING, Sep 03, 2013 (Xinhua via COMTEX) --
China's telecom equipment export value
grew 19.6 percent year on year and reached 92.4 billion US dollars in
the first 7 months of this year, according to the Ministry of
Industry and Information Technology.
Meanwhile, the telecom equipment import value reached 26.5 billion
dollars, up 38 percent year on year.
In the period, China's mobile phone export value reached 47.5
billion dollars, up 15.1 percent year on year; the laptop computer
export value reached 59.9 billion dollars, down 4.9 percent year on
year; the integrated circuit export value reached 59 billion dollars,
up 161.1 percent year on year; the liquid crystal display panel
export value reached 21.3 billion dollars, up 10.9 percent year on
year; and the export value of parts of wireless handy phones was 18.7
billion dollars, up 30.9 percent year on year.
China's electronics and IT industry maintained a rapid foreign
trade development in the first 7 months, with the export-import value
growing by 19.3 percent year on year to 757 billion dollars. (Edited
