Sparton Aydin acquires certain assets and liabilities of Aydin Displays

Sparton Aydin, LLC has acquired certain assets and liabilities of Aydin Displays, Inc., a provider of rugged liquid crystal display manufacturing technology, in an all-cash transaction.
Sparton Aydin is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sparton Corporation, a designer and manufacturer of electronic and electromechanical devices. All the companies are based in the US.
Following the transaction, Sparton Corporation will operate as Aydin Displays.
Announcement (August 20, 2013):
Sparton Aydin has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire certain assets and liabilities of Aydin Displays in an all-cash transaction.
The transaction is expected to close by September 2013, and will be funded through Sparton's existing cash balances and borrowings under the credit facility currently in place with BMO Harris Bank N.A.
