China Telecom determines to introduce in new iPhone
BEIJING, Sep 04, 2013 (Xinhua via COMTEX) --
China Telecom (CHA.NYSE; 00728.HK) had
determined to introduce Apple's new iPhone into China's market, the
telecom news portal C114.net reported on Wednesday evening.
An industry insider said that the Chinese basic telecom operator
and the smartphone maker had completed their negotiation and decided
their cooperation model for the new iPhone product.
Previous, Apple confirmed that it would hold an event on September
10, at which the company was expected to release at least one new
iPhone product. And Apple would also hold a new product meeting
independently in Beijing on September 11, which was predicted to have
a relation with the new iPhone product for China Telecom.
It was predicted that China Telecom would be the first basic
telecom operator introducing new iPhone into China, and the new
iPhone product for China Telecom would be installed with a system
