ChipMOS Declares Dividend

The Board of Director of ChipMOS Technologies, a provider of outsourced semiconductor assembly and test services (OSAT), declared a cash dividend of US$0.14 per share payable on October 30, to all common shareholders of record at the close of business on October 16.
S.J. Cheng, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ChipMOS, said, "The dividend declaration is a direct reflection of the Company's financial strength and confidence in our growth prospects. This represents another step in our ongoing efforts to build shareholder value. We continue to execute on our business, improve profitability, and outperform the industry due to our differentiated end market exposure and customer alignment within our target markets."
According to a release, with advanced facilities in Hsinchu and Southern Taiwan Science Parks in Taiwan and Shanghai, ChipMOS and its subsidiaries provide testing and assembly services to a range of customers, including fabless semiconductor companies, integrated device manufacturers and independent semiconductor foundries.
