Expert tips commodity prices to be strong despite boom doom

Paul Bloxham, Australasian chief economist at HSBC, says commodity prices are not at historic highs and so should not plummet as the resources boom wanes. Bloxham anticipates that commodity prices will remain robust in coming years, albeit with modest declines. He points out that prices were "exceptionally low" in the 1980s and 1990s, rather than being very high in 2013.
