Rally, a provider of cloud-based solutions for managing Agile software development, has been recognized in B Corp's second "Best for the World" list of companies with the most positive overall social and environmental impact.
According to a release, Rally was specifically honored as "Best for Workers" for creating the most positive impact for their workforce.
"We have a shared vision at Rally of continually striving to make our product and company as great as our people," said CEO Tim Miller. "Our commitment depends on everyone 'living Agile' with a heavy emphasis on collaboration and being comfortable sharing ideas and opinions, so we're thrilled to be recognized for fostering a culture where we treat each person as a critical part of our success."
Rally reported that it earned an overall score in the top 10 percent of all Certified B Corp.s for its positive impact on workers, as measured by the B Impact Assessment, an assessment used by more than 10,000 businesses to measure their impact on their workers, community and the environment. The "Best for Workers" section of the B Impact Assessment examines a company's relationship with its workforce, compensation, benefits, training programs, ownership, management/worker communication, job flexibility, corporate culture, and health and safety.
"Great employees are the backbone of any great business," said Jay Coen Gilbert, co-founder of B Lab, the nonprofit organization that certifies B Corp.s and governs the B Impact Assessment. "Take one look at Rally's core values and it's clear that Rally gives as much as they get from its employees."
