TERiX Sponsoring AscdiNatd Breakfast
Sep 06, 2013 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) --
TERiX Computer Service will sponsor a breakfast session at the AscdiNatd Fall Conference in Washington, DC on October 10.
According to a release, this sponsorship supports an increasing focus from TERiX on networking hardware components such as directors, enterprise-grade routers, security devices, and UCS fabric solutions from name brands including Cisco and Brocade. TERiX is one of only a handful of third party providers capable of delivering onsite support for these networking devices.
"Solution providers are looking to diversify, and the AscdiNatd Conference is the right place to promote our channel opportunities," says Pat Homon, Director of Channel Sales at TERiX. "Hardware resellers boost their revenue by also reselling maintenance services. Companies with sophisticated telecommunications systems also have datacenter equipment, and companies with datacenter equipment will have telecommunications systems," Homon explained. "A natural cross-pollination exists across both types of solution providers without competing with the reseller for hardware business."
Joe Marion, President of AscdiNatd, said, "Several years ago we anticipated the current trend towards convergence and combined the datacenter-focused ASCDI [Association of Service and Computer Dealers International] with the telecom group, NATD [National Association of Telecommunications Dealers]. The merged association has opened doors for dealers to evolve their businesses within that context."
The company reported that the AscdiNatd Conference commences the evening of Wednesday, October 9 and lasts through Friday, October 11.
The Association of Service and Computer Dealers International and the North American Association of Telecommunications Dealers (AscdiNatd) is an international trade association made up of Member companies who buy and sell new and used computer and telecom products and provide technology business solutions, technical support and other services to the business community and public entities.
