(Canadian Press Broadcast Wire (Canada) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) WINNIPEG - The deadline to enter the Manitoba Liberal leadership race is just over two weeks away, and Bob Axworthy is still gauging his support.
Axworthy has mused publicly, for months, about entering the race and admits the clock is ticking.
He sent an email last week to family and friends asking for support including five-dollar donations.
In the email, obtained by The Canadian Press, Axworthy alludes to ``past mistakes'' including bankruptcy.
He says he's learned hard lessons in his life and that has made his stronger.
So far, there are two candidates to replace outgoing Liberal leader Jon Gerrard.
Rana Bokhari, a Winnipeg lawyer, and Dougald Lamont, the owner of a marketing company, entered the race earlier in the summer.
