TAPE Wins TSA OIT Contract

Release date- 06092013 - WASHINGTON, DC - TAPE, an Inc. 500 | 5000 fastest-growing company, announced today that it has been awarded a contract to provide administrative and clerical support services to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Transportation Security Administration's (TSA) Office of Information Technology (OIT).
The work will be performed at TSA headquarters in Arlington, Va. TAPE is the prime on this contract, which will run through 2015.
OIT is familiar ground for TAPE as the company has supported the office for the last two years as a subcontractor. Among its key responsibilities, OIT manages the IT budget and funding for TSA field operations, provides telecommunications services to customer offices, provides input on telecommunications impact at field locations, and arranges the installation of computers as well as voice, data, electrical work, and furniture.

Calderwood, who oversees TAPE's DHS accounts, added that this award increases TAPE's scope at TSA. According to Calderwood, this new contract award builds on the more than 85 percent of revenue that the company has captured through the PACTS clerical functional category. Team TAPE will support the Chief Information Officer (CIO), the Deputy Chief Information Officer (DCIO), the Operations Executive (OE), Office of Strategy and Innovation (SI) and the Business Management Office (BMO).
