NCTA Launches Statewide Tech Tour
RALEIGH, N.C. --(Business Wire)--
Carolina Technology Association (NCTA), the primary voice of the
technology industry in North Carolina, is celebrating its 20th
anniversary this year. To celebrate, the Association is embarking on an
"NC Tech Tour" to highlight both the statewide impact of the Association
and the vibrancy of the tech sector.
Throughout September, NCTA (News - Alert) will facilitate activities in Asheville,
Charlotte, the Triad, the Triangle and Wilmington, with a few stops
along the way. In each region, the Association will host a Tech Partners
Roundtable, company tours at member facilities, and Techworking
receptions. A full listing of activities, in each region, is listed
Tuesday, September 10 (Asheville) - Member tours at CommScope,
(closed tour), MOOG
Factory; and the Asheville
Techworking at Highland Brewing Company.
Wednesday, September 11 (Charlotte) - Member tours at Packard
10; and the NCTA
20th Anniversary Celebration at the Duke Mansion.
Wednesday, September 18 (Greensboro) - Member tours at UNCG
- Office of Innovate Commercialization, Varrow,
Veeder-Root, and APEX
Thursday, September 19 (Winston-Salem) - Member tours at DataChambers
Level Labs; and Triad
Techworking at Foothills Brewing Company.
Wednesday, September 25 (Wilmington) - Member tours to be
announced soon and Wilmington
Techworking at Front Street Brewery.
Thursday, September 26 (Triangle) - Member tours at Digital
Techworking at Natty Greenes.
NCTA will be chronicling the entire tour through a dedicated website, at www.NCTechTour.com.
The association will also be engaging its membership through its social
media channels. Additionally, NCTA members can submit a virtual tour
stop with photos and a description of why their region is a great place
