Accusoft Releases Prizm Capture
Sep 10, 2013 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) --
Accusoft announced the release of the Prizm Capture cloud-based accounts payable (AP) processing service for QuickBooks desktop while continuing to support QuickBooks Online.
Prizm Capture eliminates manual data entry for invoices, saving time for QuickBooks users and reducing data-entry errors.
According to a release, through Prizm Capture, both QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks desktop users can enter bills into their accounts in three simple steps: 1) Upload the Word, PDF or scanned invoice to Prizm Capture, 2) Review and verify the data Prizm Capture has extracted from it--vendor, date, total, and so on--and 3) Click a button to post the data to QuickBooks, desktop or online. It's that simple. There's even an option to save the invoice image to Dropbox and reference if from the record in QuickBooks, for an electronic audit trail.
By making invoice processing quicker and more convenient, Prizm Capture enables users to attend to the task more promptly, winning them early-payment discounts and preventing late-payment fines.
Accusoft has equipped Prizm Capture with recognition technology that not only accurately extracts data from an invoice image, but also "learns" the more it's used. On those rare occasions when Prizm Capture cannot identify a data field on its own, the user can pick out the field with a few clicks. Prizm Capture learns the location of that field, and will extract the data from the field automatically the next time the user processes an invoice from the same vendor.
Because it is a cloud service, Prizm Capture requires no installation. To keep its customers' valuable data safe, Accusoft protects it in Prizm Capture with the highest level of SSL encryption available on the Internet.
Accusoft provides a full spectrum of document, content and imaging solutions as fully supported, enterprise-grade, client-server applications, mobile apps, online and cloud services, and software development kits (SDKs).
