CII delegation to explore business in the Sultanate [Times of Oman]
(Times of Oman Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Muscat: A 13-member delegation from the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is visiting Oman from September 11 to 14, to explore business opportunities and investment opprtunities available in Oman.
The delegation includes companies like IL&FS Investment Managers, Lavanya Ayurveda, Infosys, SRSL International, Tehnomak Projects India, Victor Cables, Saisudhir Infrastructures, South West Group and HCL among others, said a communiqué from Indian embassy.
The companies visiting Oman are dealing in a variety of sectors like centrifugal pump manufacture, manufacturing of gaskets for automobile, industrial, marine and oil field applications, manufacture of rubber moulding and products of natural rubber, nitrile, neoprene, silicon, EPDM and viton. Traders of industrial products such as rubber sheets, suction & delivery hoses for water & oil, water pumps, camlock fittings, safety products, various products for shipping industry, graphite sheets and components, hydraulic seals, PTFE products, gland packagings, copper, aluminium and fibre washer, non-asbestos and asbestos jointing, among others will be coming for business meetings.
In addition, there will be exporters of natural stones and related products for architectural, interior and landscaping applications, various types of sponge rubber beedings and products, healthcare, IT, hydro-phonic technology (All), green house technology, corps management. Consultants for infrastructure project like dolphinarium and sea park, water treatment, steel fabrication, manufacturer of plates and coil, thermal power plants and Information Technology companies are also part of the delegation.
A seminar and meetings with the CII delegation will be held on September 11, at 11am at the premises of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI). The companies dealing in various sectors in Oman can meet the CII delegation from India at the OCCI premises during the meetings.
