In January 2013, the country's retail sales, excluding motor vehicles and petrol stations, recorded a monthly growth of 1.2% and an annual growth of 2.7%. Sales of furniture, domestic electric appliances and building materials contributed the most to the increase from December 2012 to January 2013.
