Herkimer County Community College announces upcoming non-credit computer training courses for community members.
Basic Computer Fundamentals is an introductory series for beginning computer users. Level I is designed for those who have little or no prior knowledge of computer equipment or software. Level I training will be held on Wednesday, October 2, from 5-8 pm. Level II builds upon Level I and is for those who have limited basic computer experience and would like to enhance their skills. Level II training is to be held on Wednesday, October 9, from 5-8 pm. Level III builds on the previous two trainings and will enhance computer skills by accessing drives, creating files and folders, and downloading information. Participants should be comfortable with overall computer operations or have taken Level II. Level III training is to be held on Wednesday, October 16, from 5-8 pm. The fee is $42 per level or register for all three for $120.
