Sep 19, 2013 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) --
Office Ally will display a full suite of revenue-cycle management services at two conferences held on each coast later this month.
According to a release, the company will share its services in clinical messaging, practice management and electronic health records at the Pri-Med East Conference September 20-22 in Boston and at the EZ-CAP Western Regional User Group Conference September 26-27 in Huntington Beach, California.
"Both of these conferences provide a marvelous opportunity for us to share with providers new ways to make their practices more efficient and enhance the care they are providing to their patients," said Brian O'Neill, president and CEO of Office Ally. "All three of the products we'll be showcasing are simple to implement, highly affordable, and leading the industry when it comes to smart ways to leverage technology and pragmatically automate a medical office."
Office Ally reported that its real-time clinical messaging tool has been shown to improve patient outcomes. Called MessageMate, providers are notified in real time and at point of care of the recommended clinical procedures most advantageous to the patient. Patients can also be notified electronically through Office Ally's patient portal - Patient Ally. Such real-time messaging significantly improves quality of care and allows for better results of disease management, resulting in fewer hospitalizations and reducing serious medical errors. Clinical messaging has also been shown to increase compliance with HEDIS and NCQA guidelines, thus reducing overall healthcare costs.
Further, at the same time Office Ally's free practice management system - Practice Mate - is taking on heightened significance with physicians due to the fact that all offices will have to upgrade their Physician's Office Management and Medical Information Systems (POMIS) by October 1, 2014, in order to comply with new requirements from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Practice Mate allows users to create and maintain a patient database, create claims and submit them electronically, store demographic and insurance information, manage payments/deposits, and create and send patient statements and financial reports. Its appointment module also allows for scheduling with search and viewing capabilities.
Office Ally currently works with providers and insurance carriers in all 50 states. Its complete suite of interactive ASP Internet-based solutions includes a patient health registry - Patient Ally, electronic health records - EHR 24/7, practice management - Practice Mate, clearinghouse and case-connect tool.
