PolicyPak Rolls Out Pak for Blackberry Desktop
Sep 20, 2013 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) --
PolicyPak Software, the leader in desktop and application management, recently unveiled their newest Pak for Blackberry Desktop.
The pre-configured Pak for Blackberry Desktop delivers the exact settings you want for your users and enforces them so users can't misconfigure or work around them. For example, admins can make sure that "Automatically check for updates to Blackberry Desktop Software" is always unchecked so users aren't prompted with annoying updates. Additionally, admins can then totally lock it down with PolicyPak's signature feature, "Perform ACL Lockdown," which locks settings all the way into the registry itself. A full list of features for the Pak can be found on the PolicyPak website.
IT Admins and network administrators who want to try out the PolicyPak software can get a free trial by attending a Group Policy Webinar at the PolicyPak website, or by calling (800) 883-8002.
Jeremy Moskowitz, Group Policy MVP and founder of PolicyPak Software, recently said, "Your users depend on their desktop applications to work flawlessly. They also expect their phones to work flawlessly. Thus it's doubly important to make sure that a desktop application that integrates with their phone works as expected every time, or frustration sets in, which means a call to the helpdesk. This is why it's important not to depend on your users to configure their own settings for Blackberry Desktop."
PolicyPak can deliver settings using Microsoft Active Directory Group Policy, Microsoft SCCM, Dell KACE, or any other management tool.
