Macy's named as exclusive launch partner for Apple's new iTunes Radio

US retailing company Macy's Inc (NYSE:M) announced on Thursday that it is an exclusive launch partner for Apple's new iAd-supported streaming radio service, iTunes Radio.
According to the company, iAd on iTunes Radio, aligns perfectly with its Omnichannel marketing strategy, allowing Macy's to reach a broad cross-section of consumers with digital, visual and audio engagement experiences on their iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Apple TV, Mac or PC.
Also, iAd on iTunes radio will help Macy's deliver fashion, value and entertainment to its customers on the devices they use at home and on the go.
Macy's plans to showcase a variety of initiatives ahead of the busy autumn and holiday shopping seasons through iAd on iTunes Radio, ranging from great sale and value messages to fashion and event contents.
In addition to the campaigns promoted on iTunes Radio, Macy's will continue to deliver special offers and in-store savings to customers through its app for iPhone and iPod Touch, with the added convenience of being able to add these offers and savings directly to the Passbook app.
