Bluedrop to Deliver Its Workforce Solutions in Europe - Starting in Sweden
ST. JOHN'S, Newfoundland and Labrador --(Business Wire)--
Bluedrop Performance Learning (TSX-V: BPL) today announced they have
signed a strategic partnership agreement with Maya Global Enterprises
Solutions AB of Sweden to develop and deliver critical skills training
to women entrepreneurs.
A pilot program for critical skills training will start immediately in
Sweden in partnership with Maya Global using Bluedrop's CoursePark®
eLearning platform. The goal is to expand the program to thousands of
women entrepreneurs and their employees to help them grow their
businesses. The partnership also sets the stage for Bluedrop's future
market expansion into the rest of Europe.
"We are pleased to bring our Work Essentials program to women-owned,
small businesses in Sweden," said Emad Rizkalla, founder and CEO of
Bluedrop. "It is gratifying that the work we are doing with women
entrepreneurs in the U.S. and South America continues to provide us with
opportunities to make a difference elsewhere. We have been analyzing the
European market for some time and this partnership is a positive first
step toward realizing our ambitions," Rizkalla added.
Dr. Ann-Christine Langselius, CEO and founder of Maya Global Enterprise
Solutions AB said, "Maya Global is very excited about the strategic
partnership with Bluedrop, being able to offer a very thorough service
and include web-based applications to Swedish women entrepreneurs and
innovators in their usiness and skills development process. This
partnership with Bluedrop comes at a key time as we are able to help
women entrepreneurs become more competitive in Europe and globally, in
addition to developing advanced workplace skills."
"Relevance in the workplace today is a lifelong journey," said Rizkalla.
"CoursePark's mission is to become the world's platform for acquiring
the skills people need to find a job or to get ahead when they have one.
We have discovered along the way that we also have a powerful platform
for helping small business owners and entrepreneurs who have been
neglected by the learning solutions industry. We have made a difference
to thousands of entrepreneurs and look forward to doing the same in
Sweden and across Europe. "
