BRIEF: Report: Kroger CEO stepping down [News & Record, Greensboro, N.C.]
(News & Record (Greensboro, NC) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Sept. 20--Kroger Co. CEO David Dillon will retire on New Years Day, according to The Business Journal.
W. Rodney McMullen will take over as CEO following Dillon's departure.
According to the report, Kroger is in the process of returning to the Triad marketplace through its acquisition of Matthews-based Harris Teeter. Harris Teeter has several locations throughout the Triad including a dairy manufacturing facility in High Point and a warehouse in Greensboro, according to the report.
