Banks fight Bpay rivals with new ad campaign

The owners of Bpay have launched an advertising campaign to counteract competition from new payment systems. The campaign, by advertising agency BMF, began with a TV commercial in mid-September 2013 and will include print, online and flyers. Bpay had about 337 million payments worth $A64 million in the year to June. Bpay wants to increase awareness of its Bpay View service, which delivers bills directly to the online account of customers.
