Online shopping at centre of New Zealand's Digital Universe

The latest Roy Morgan Digital Universe report shows that 47.5 per cent of New Zealanders aged 14+ now make an online purchase in an average four-week period. This compares with 42.2 per cent two years ago. The report, which is based on a Roy Morgan Single Source survey, also shows that just 35.4 per cent of Australians shop online in an average four-week period. TradeMe was the most popular online shopping site in New Zealand in the first half of 2013, with 53.4 per cent of the population visiting the site.
