NTT America names Christopher Eldredge as new EVP of Data Centre ServicesSep 24, 2013 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- NTT America, an IT infrastructure services provider and a division of NTT Communications (NYSE:NTT), announced on Monday that it has appointed Christopher P. Eldredge as the company's executive vice president of Data Centre Services. NTT America's Data Centre Services business unit, one of the company's three business units, offers comprehensive services designed to accommodate rapid deployment and implementation of IT initiatives with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) solutions, including managed hosting, cloud and colocation services. In his new role, Eldredge will be responsible for overseeing all facets of the Data Centre Services business unit. Also, he will be responsible for full profit and loss accountability, driving business development activities with system integrator partners and directing new business strategy for data centre services. He will report directly to Kazuhiro Gomi, NTT America's president and CEO. Most recently, Eldredge was the president and general manager of Ethernet Exchange and Product Management at Telx. Prior to Telx, he held executive leadership positions at Silver Lake Private Equity, Broadview Networks, Frontier Communications and Cablevision.
