PwC US Unveils 365 App for the iPad

PwC US announced the launch of PwC's 365, an iPad app that gives users customized access to the firm's analyses and insights as well as subject matter experts from across all of its practices and industry sectors.
According to a release, available for free to anyone via the App Store, PwC's 365 enables users to stay current on trends and new developments in the industries that matter most to them and to share those insights with colleagues and social networks. Users can also participate in real-time discussions with PwC staff as well as other app users.
"News and knowledge consumption is dynamic and interactive, so we reimagined the way we present our thought leadership to reflect that," said Bob Moritz, PwC's US Chairman and Senior Partner. "With 365, we're presenting the information you want upfront while still providing the ability to dive deeper into the subjects most relevant to you."
PwC noted its 365 represents the next step in its commitment to providing the business community at large with streamlined access to the critical insights that help them succeed.
PwC's 365 is currently available for iPad users, with further rollout to the iPhone in November.
PwC said 365 features include:
-Access to articles, videos, infographics and audio that present PwC research and insights in a format designed for quick consumption
-Access to a database of PwC subject matter specialists and the ability to contact them directly from the app
-The ability for users to comment on content and engage other users in a public discussion
-Content sharing via social media sites such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter
-A news feed that can be customized to user preferences by industry, topic or collection
-Keyword search capability
-Ability to download full research reports
