SafeNet to showcase 'secure breach' solutions [ITP.net (United Arab Emirates)]
(ITP.net (United Arab Emirates) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Information security solutions provider SafeNet, Inc, will showcase its latest security solutions at GITEX TECHNOLGY WEEK 2013.
SafeNet's theme is built around the notion of "secure breach", which encourages breach acceptance rather than prevention, and the necessity to secure "what matters, where it matters".
"We are very excited to have the opportunity to meet our customers, prospects and partners once again at GITEX and celebrate our 30th anniversary milestone with them," said Miguel Braojos, vice president of sales Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa (SEMEA), SafeNet. "This anniversary marks the union of many different solutions, ideas and people into one successful, growing organisation. SafeNet now has local offices in Dubai and Riyadh. Since the opening, the revenue has more than tripled, with a 20% year-on-year growth in 2012, marking a high performance year for SafeNet in the Middle East."
Middle Eastern customers and partners at GITEX 2013 will experience a live demonstration of SafeNet's Crypto Hypervisor, said to be the first solution to "virtualise hardware-based cryptographic modules into consumable, elastic and isolated cryptographic resources for use by virtual applications in need of encryption". The Crypto Hypervisor is designed to enable organisations to virtualise their crypto resources in an "efficient and scalable way", ensuring that all data can be encrypted, even as it moves in a virtualised environment.
"Crypto Hypervisor is the only solution for large enterprises that allows service providers to offer encryption services that their customers can trust, because SP Admins have no way to access customers' keys," SafeNet said.
"The AWS CloudHSM offering is an example of a service provider offering cloud-based SafeNet HSM and crypto services today."
