Based in Sierra Vista, Ariz., Wick owns 28 newspapers and 18 specialty publications in 12 states. Yunt begins his new duties Oct. 7.
Ben Reeves, a financial adviser with Edward Jones Investments, Platteville, Wis., was named to the Managing Partner's Conference in Phoenix, and honored by the firm for his job performance. He was one of 350 out of more than 11,000 Edward Jones financial advisers invited to the conference. He has been an adviser for 26 years and has attended the conference 17 times.

The American Board of Opticianry announced that Janet Lovett, Medical Associates Optician, recently demonstrated the knowledge and skills necessary for the effective practice of opticianry by passing the National Opticianry Competency Exam. The exam is a job-related test that accurately measures technical optical dispensing knowledge and is administered nationwide twice a year. Of the 22 states that license or register, 19 states use the exam as the written part of their licensing standards.
