AT&T U-verse customers in five additional states will be able to order home High Speed Internet at speeds of up to 45 Mbps downstream and up to 6 Mbps upstream, beginning Sunday, Sept. 29.
According to a release, in addition to the 17 states where the new speeds have already launched, U-verse High Speed Internet Power will be available to eligible AT&T U-verse residential and small business customers in:
-Fort Smith, AR
-Little Rock, AR
-Corpus Christi, TX

The company noted that the latest launches will complete AT&T's rollout of 45 Mbps speeds, which are part of AT&T's Project Velocity IP (VIP), a three-year investment plan announced last fall to expand and enhance its IP broadband networks. Through this investment, AT&T is supporting its customers' growing desire for high-speed Internet access and new mobile, app and cloud-based services. AT&T plans to upgrade top tier U-verse speeds to up to 100 Mbps in the future.
Further, U-verse Power is available to eligible residential customers. Current eligible U-verse Internet residential customers can upgrade their package.
Small businesses interested in U-verse Power pricing and packages can call 800-321-2000, go to att.com/smallbusiness, or contact their authorized AT&T sales representative. In addition, small businesses can purchase Business U-verse TV packages. Promotional pricing is available through December 2013.
