(South Wales Evening Post (Wales) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) THE chairman of Swanseabased Pure Wafer has announced the company has made a profit.
Stephen Boyd said he was very encouraged by the year so far and the computer chip recycling company was enjoying sustained demand for its products.
The firm recovered from a loss of Pounds 430,000 to record a pre- tax profit of Pounds 1.8million in the year ending June 30.
Mr Boyd said: I am delighted to report very encouraging results which move the company firmly back into pre-tax profit.
The forecast global growth in the semiconductor industry was in evidence during the period, enabling Pure Wafer to continue to enjoy increasing and sustained demand for its wafer reclaim services across all geographical areas in which we trade and across all sectors of the industry.
