Addressing the final session of the World Marketing Summit in Kuala Lumpur, Al Mulla said a clearly defined strategy for women empowerment is key to ensuring their success in the business fields.
She underlined the progress made by the UAE women in different domains, thanks to support given by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and to the instrumental role played by the Mother of the Nation H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, Chairwoman of General Women's Union and Chairwoman of Motherhood, Childhood Supreme Council.
The three-day summit, held under the theme ""Better World Through Marketing", provided a platform to delegates to share their successful implementation of a campaign that has helped deliver socio-transformation in any of the 8 Millennium Development Goals areas of poverty eradication, primary education, gender equality, child mortality, maternal health, combating disease, environmental sustainability or global partnerships for development.
The summit featured a stellar alliance of leaders, thinkers, and game-changers such as Professor Dr. Philip Kotler, Dr Ashok Kosla, Chairman of the Development Alternatives Group, Badria Al Mulla, and Prince Ali Bin Al-Huseein of Jordan, Chairman of the Dream Asia, Asian Football Confederation.
