Regus opens 75th business centre in London
Oct 07, 2013 (M2 PRESSWIRE via COMTEX) --
Regus, the global workspace provider, has extended its network to 75 locations with the opening of a new business centre on Regent Street, in the heart of the West End.
The new centre in Rex House at Piccadilly Circus features a large 'Campus' facility (co-working space)- a high-tech business lounge, a range of private offices and meeting rooms available on a flexible basis and administrative support.
The centre is expected to attract entrepreneurs seeking a professional alternative to working from home, businesses that need flexible space to grow and business travellers from around the globe.
John Spencer, UK CEO at Regus said: "Opening our 75 th centre in London is a significant landmark for us and reflects the tremendous growth in demand for flexible workspace in the city, especially among fast growing ambitious firms.
"Business owners are reassessing their approach to the physical workplace and frequently concluding that full-time, permanent offices are an unnecessary burden, financially and environmentally.
"But in our experience, those that choose a 'virtual' business model still need somewhere professional to meet, work and connect with like-minded businesses, albeit on a part-time basis. Regus Piccadilly is designed for this community."
The business lounge at Regus Piccadilly is accessed with a Regus Businessworld Gold card (GBP35/month), and workspace trial packs can be purchased 'off the shelf' in Staples stores.
Regus Piccadilly has a bright white colour scheme giving a crisp and modern feel, and a large roof terrace on the seventh floor offers impressive views over the West End.
Rex House was constructed in 1938 by the architect Robert Cromie and was once home to the Paris Cinema and BBC radio studios.
Globally, Regus continues to expand and recently extended its presence to 100 countries. It expects to have 2000 locations around the world by the end of 2014.
