Sprint to offer Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 on its network from 11 October

Sprint (NYSE:T), a provider of a range of wireless and wireline communications services, announced on Monday the availability of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 on 11 October 2013, with a special introductory price of USD49.99 (excluding taxes) with a new line or eligible upgrade and two-year service agreement.
Customers will be able to purchase this new Samsung tablet in all Sprint sales channels, including Sprint Stores, Sprint Business Sales, Web Sales and Telesales at 1-800-SPRINT1. Initially, Galaxy Tab 3 will be available in White, but a Midnight Black version is expected to be available for the holidays.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, with a 7-inch screen, features Android 4.2, Jelly Bean, Sprint 4G LTE, where available, a 3-megapixel rear-facing camera with video capture and 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video chat. It also offers, Samsung Hub to buy music, books, movies and games with a full library of content; access to over a million apps from Google Play; Samsung WatchON, a TV and movie app; top bookstore apps; Polaris Office, which is preloaded, allowing users to edit Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint files from anywhere; Group Play, which lets users share a game, photo album or presentation in real time with multiple friends on select Samsung devices using Wi-Fi; Samsung for Enterprise (SAFE) , which ensures that businesses have the security and control they require to protect the company and 3G/4G LTE mobile hotspot capability supporting up to 10 Wi-Fi enabled devices simultaneously.
Also, Sprint customers can take advantage of Sprint One Up, a new upgrade programme that gives customers the ability to upgrade their smartphone every 12 months.
