Alaska Communications introduces new wireless shared data plans
Oct 09, 2013 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) --
Alaska Communications (NASDAQ:ALSK), a provider of advanced broadband solutions, on Tuesday announced that it has introduced new wireless shared data plans for customers with smartphones, basic phones and wireless routers.
The company said that shared plans provide more options for choosing the right plan for the mobile devices and customers can now get unlimited text and talk and share a single bucket of data across up to ten smartphones, basic phones and other devices. These plans permit families to build a plan that fits their Internet usage and can start by choosing a monthly data bucket and then add the devices they will use, to access the Internet, talk and text.
Further, the company's Alaska Shared Plan gives additional savings for groups that want to use data within Alaska.
