Ceragon awarded USD7.0m in network orders from Vodacom in Tanzania

Ceragon Networks Ltd (Nasdaq:CRNT), a wireless backhaul company, on Tuesday announced the receipt of further orders valued at USD7m from Vodacom Tanzania, a large mobile operator, to upgrade and support backbone links across the country.
According to Ceragon, the majority of Vodacom Tanzania's countrywide network is currently based on Ceragon technology, serving over 10 million subscribers.
The company said this upgrade is designed to support continued customer growth and heightened demand for advanced data services.
Vodacom Tanzania is a subsidiary of the mobile communications company Vodacom Group Ltd (FRA:5VD.F).
