Meru Networks (Nasdaq:MERU), a provider of Wi-Fi networking, announced on Tuesday the signing of a North American distribution agreement with The Douglas Stewart Company (DSC), a distributor of tailored education solutions to schools and universities.
This agreement, financial details of which were not available, will enable Meru to benefit from DSC's reseller network's strong relationships with higher education institutions, large school districts, state departments of education and education consortia.
Also, DSC will leverage Meru Education-grade (MEG) Wi-Fi solutions to anchor its 'Mobile Learning Ecosystem' initiative.
Reportedly, the MEG solution is designed to solve colleges' and universities' BYOD issues and support their uninterrupted learning applications.
