Tech Council of Maryland Expands Regional Reach through Partnership with Prince George's County
ROCKVILLE, Md. --(Business Wire)--
The Tech Council of Maryland (TCM), Maryland's largest trade association
for technology and life science companies, today announced that it has
partnered with Prince George's County to foster greater community
building for innovative companies throughout Maryland. The groups will
work together to encourage collaboration, unite the technology community
and produce networking and educational events in Prince George's County,
including their first reception, which is planned for November 14 at

To kick off the partnership, TCM and Prince George's Countywill host a
networking reception on Thursday, November 14 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at
Bobby McKey's Dueling Piano Bar in National Harbor. Among local VIPs who
will be in attendance are Prince George's County Executive Rushern L.
Baker III; Vennard Wright, the CIO of Prince George's County, and Gwen
S. McCall, president and CEO of the Prince George's County Economic
The groups also are planning a half-day educational event in Spring
2014, which will feature a luncheon keynote, as well as panel
discussions addressing IT innovation, workforce development and higher
