Halloween City offering tools for all your tricking needs [The Register-Herald, Beckley, W.Va.]
(Register-Herald (Beckley, WV) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Oct. 12--A spoooooky new shop in Beckley is selling Halloween supplies for all sorts of boys and ghouls through Halloween.
Halloween City opened next door to Kohl's at Cranberry Creek and its director of marketing says the chain has been transforming people for years.
"We've been haunting friendly communities like Beckley for over 30 years throughout the U.S.," Donny Rose said. "Typically our stores open soon after Labor Day and will continue to be open through Halloween."
Rose says Halloween City has thousands of costumes, costume accessories, wigs, makeup, props, decorations and more that people are given the chance to fall in love with.
"We have on-site fitting rooms that allow our customers the opportunity to try before they buy," he said. "We also have sales associates that can help you change that costume into your favorite character."
Halloween City is a temporary store and will close a few days after Halloween.
Rose says the store has costumes for any budget and prices start at $9.99.
"What's popular right now are superheroes, Disney princesses, zombies, Duck Dynasty, Monster High, pirates and Partysuits," he said. "Halloween is really popular because it's a fun holiday that provides anyone the opportunity to dress up like their favorite character."
A Partysuit is a one-piece suit made out of stretchy fabric that covers the entire body from head to toe. They range from different colors to patterns like the American flag.
Halloween City is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays and from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday through Saturday. Staff at the Beckley location say the store will have expanded hours after Oct. 19.
