ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 18 -- Texas Instruments, Dallas, has been assigned a patent (8,558,353) developed by James F. Salzman, Anna, Texas, for an "integrated circuit having an uppermost layer comprising landing pads that are distributed thoughout one side of the integrated circuit."
