Mobile internet subscriptions rise 2.4% m/m in September . [IntelliNews - Weekly Reports]
(IntelliNews - Weekly Reports Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) The number of mobile Internet subscriptions in Hungary rose by 2.4% m/m to 3.83mn in September 2013, the communications watchdog said. The growth speeded up from 1.9% m/m in August.
The number of subscriptions with data transfer rose 2.3% m/m to 2.9mn. The volume of transferred data edged down by 0.9% m/m to 2.53mn gigabytes in September.
In terms of market distribution, T-Mobile was still the market leader with a 46.58% share (down by 0.11pps m/m). Telenor came second with a share of 31.34%, up by 0.06pps m/m. Vodafone was third as its share decreased by 0.13pps to 22.01% of all mobile Internet subscriptions at end-September.
