Mission Measurement Appoints Marketing and Communications Veteran Perry Yeatman as Principal and CMO
CHICAGO --(Business Wire)--
Mission Measurement LLC today announced the appointment of C. Perry
Yeatman as Principal. She was also appointed to the newly-created role
of Chief Marketing Officer, reporting directly to company CEO, Jason
Saul. As the company's first CMO, Yeatman will be responsible for
helping put Mission Measurement on the map as the world leader in
measuring social outcomes.
"We've been a thought-leader in this space for nearly a decade. Given
the tremendous growth in the field in recent years, we think the time is
right to start spreading the word and sharing what we've learned through
our work with leading companies, governments and NGOs," said Saul.
"Establishing the CMO position will better enable us to harness our
tremendous intellectual capital. Perry is uniquely qualified to pioneer
this role given her success working with and for several of the world's
largest companies, governments and NGOs during her nearly 30 years as a
Marketing and Corporate Affairs professional."
Prior to joining Mission Measurement, Perry was Senior Vice President
for Corporate and Government Affairs at Kraft Foods and President of the
Kraft Foods Foundation. During her seven years with Kraft, she advised
Kraft Chairman and CEO, Irene Rosenfeld, on subjects ranging from
multi-billion dollar deals to ending hunger.
"I'm very excited to be able to combine my passion for business with my
personal cmmitment to tackling the world's toughest social problems. I
know that the more we can shift the conversation from 'charity' to
'shared value' and from 'valuing outputs' to 'delivering outcomes,' the
more we can simultaneously deliver significant business value and
substantial, measurable social benefits," said Yeatman.
Before joining Kraft in 2005, Yeatman spent nearly 15 years with leading
communications firms including Shandwick and Burson-Marsteller. In 2000,
Yeatman moved "in-house" as a Vice President of Corporate Affairs for
Unilever in North America, where she also served on the management board
and the Board of the Unilever U.S. Foundation.
Beyond her broad and deep understanding of communications, Yeatman has
unique experience in global business, having managed global teams and
lived and worked overseas for most of the 1990s - based first in
Singapore, then Russia and finally the UK. In her various roles, Yeatman
served not only as a senior counselor but a General Manager as well. Ms.
Yeatman is also an award-winning author.
