Nawras appoints new CEO [CommsMEA (United Arab Emirates)]
(CommsMEA (United Arab Emirates) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Omani operator Nawras has appointment Greg Young as its new CEO with effect from 23 October 2013. Greg will replace Ross Cormack, who will be taking up another leading role in the Ooredoo group.
Gregis a telecoms professional with 29 years of experience in the wireless and telecoms industry, including executive management and commercial and technical roles with leading operators.
Prior to joining Nawras, he worked as CEO of Sri Lanka Telecom, the second largest publically listed company in the country with over 10,000 employees across the group.
