Northwestern Connecticut Community College offers New Solidworks 3D Modeling Courses
(Targeted News Service Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) WINSTED, Conn., Oct. 23 -- Northwestern Connecticut Community College issued the following news release:
NCCC has begun to offer SolidWorks 3D Modeling courses under the Connecticut Jobs Bill Program. This fall fourteen continuing education students are taking advantage of this training to gain practical knowledge of SolidWorks software for use in the manufacturing industry. Course topics include basic functionality, part, assembly and drawing development, toolbox elements, e-Drawings, Design tables, revolves, sweeps, lofts, visualization, sustainability and simulationXpress.
Starting in January, CAD 220 Parametric Design (SolidWorks), a 3 - credit course, will be offered. Course topics will include design intent and process, sketching techniques, model development techniques, process-specific modeling, design changes, editing models, patterning and assembly techniques.
SolidWorks courses are ideal for educators, manufacturers, engineers, graphic designers, researchers, and product developers .
